Unable to communicate with roku

After installing via the setup.py & pipx method suggested by another user here, I am no getting an error message that says "Unable to communicate with roku at MY_ROKU_IP:PORT"

Anyone ever experience this and more importantly have a way of fixing it?

I was stuck on this for a little while too. I just solved it on the Roku side. I found a setting in the Roku menu:

Settings->System->Advanced System Settings>Control by mobile apps->Network access

The field was set to "Limited" for me. Changing to "Enabled" or "Permissive" allows roku-cli to work. (If I set it to "Disabled", roku-cli errors out as soon as I try to connect.)
