-- shown once on a new install (not to those who already set the addon up),
-- again from Home > Guide or /ec welcome. Every choice is the panel's own
-- setting, saved at once; the guide has no "cancel all". It is a layer over
-- the panel's window (the panel keeps the pad and passes the presses here),
-- with its own header and help bar. Layout and pictures: design/onboarding
-- (README.md: places in pixels from the window's top left).
--
-- Modes: "normal"; "identify" (the back paddles, then the touchpad buttons
-- turned on, each pressed when asked); "bind" (a wheel's key: the button or
-- combination pressed next); "preview" (the gamepad bar's size, the window
-- made small at the top of the screen so the bar shows behind it).
