Apologies for this but due to DevOps limitations with Github we had to move this repository to an internal Git repo and no longer update this repo. We do publish the latest package to our public preview NuGet feed as Pty.Net:
https://dev.azure.com/azure-public/vside/_artifacts/feed/msft_consumption/NuGet/Pty.Net/overview/0.3.94-pre

You can add that as a NuGet feed to your project, install Pty.Net from that source, and use it's libraries to spin up a bash instance.

Here's a snippet of a method that creates a shell connection and takes in a Stream for input/output data, a size in columns and rows, a working directory (cwd), and a dictionary of environment variables to flow into the new shell.

            _ = Task.Run(() => BufferlessCopyFromStreamAsync(connection.ReaderStream, remotePipe));

BufferlessCopyFromStreamAsync reads in one stream and sends it through another, allowing back and forth communication between remotePipe and the Pty connection stream
