Hi there, neat project. Found it via https://socialdocs.org/docs/ecosystem/fedbox/ and did a quick local setup then shared via ngrok as mentioned in the documentation. No problem there. I edited my profile locally and it worked, as expected. I also use tried fedbox post "Hello world" and it also worked.
All wonderful, but then I wondered how straightforward it was. I don't understand how the "edit" button on the Web interface works. It seems anybody could edit "my" profile. Am I missing something?
