Let's face it...
...the current "API" (if we can even call it that) is very basic.
What's the idea?
A better API for the plugins to make them easier to make. Maybe possibilities to access even more stuff like opening files for a change and stuff.
Will this break the current existing plugins?
I hope not because I want to add two options for plugins: they can either use the old API or the new one. If this can't be implemented, guess what: current plugins won't work...
So yeah this is my idea.
