Thanks for putting this together. Are you intending to put in a pull request, or is this the PR?

Also, with regards to giving the board its own HWID, I think its unlikely - read this blog post for background: https://meshtastic.org/blog/updates-to-supported-hardware/

As for the rest of the work, it may be worth trying to make the specific #ifdef parts of the code that you've attached it to more generic. For example, you're adding it to some of the M5 stack stuff - it would be better to make it a generic "has x type of screen" or whatever will make it specific enough, rather than make the main FW into a list of applicable boards.

No, it's not released yet. Need to compile the firmware implementation from the github PR.

From the title this looks like a very very old version (which if I remember correctly doesn't even show a proper BaseUI display). However, the most recent version is 2.7.19.
