One of the 1.2.7 versions of the mod does not include the ability to independently adjust sound volume.

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that this version of the mod does not seem to have the feature that allows the user to adjust volume independent of the vanilla sliders. It seems like instead it adjusts the speed of the audio.

Regardless, this mod is amazing! thank you for your contributions to the minecraft community <3

thanks for the report and for using my mod.
i currently do not support older versions of the mod, if you need an updated version for MC1.21.6-MC1.21.8 you can request a backport of the current main branch and i'll see what i can do.
i can't guarantee any ETA as i'm currently really busy with work
