Clicking On Save for Slider or Slideshow Throws Error After Adding One image

After clicking on Save Widget Configuration button throws: 'A technical problem with the server created an error. Try again to continue what you were doing. If the problem persists, try again later. - so perhaps some JS issue with button on save.

I'm actually using the Magento media gallery ui component to upload images, if you upload media inside folders like "Storage Root" or "catalog" magento refuses the upload and generate an error.
You must choose the "wysiswyg" folder.
Can you please try to upload inside that folder and check if the problem persists?
I've made a test on the same Magento version just right now.

Like I said, it seems like a JS issue with the button being dead - perhaps a conflict. I made sure the image was in the wysiwyg media gallery folder for upload, but still throws 'An error has occured...'

I've maybe found the cause of your problem.
It happends that pagebuilder widget needs to make a preference on Magento\Widget\Model\Config\Converter class.
If other modules make that preference before MageOS_PageBuilderWidget all the widgets specified with custom xml configurations (e.g. "previewTemplates") will fail creating preview due to xml reading mismatch.
Please check inside your codebase for modules that actually are making that kind of preference:
