  • NetworkTimeout: document that --boot re-creates wait_for_network, breaking auto-login Confirmed empirically: every --boot run persists the key back to /Library/Preferences, and the root-context loader treats key presence as enabled, so the network wait (and the loginwindow unload that cancels automatic login) is active on every boot after installation.
