It's working, but the person who joins as a guest can't use the remote, and the remote play icon isn't showing up to pre-define the controls.

previous version worked flawlessly, had controls and everything, im guessing steam like fucking over the mod? because rn even if i quit the game, the stream is still up, so it looks like it's streaming the whole desktop

for me it worked fine, the controls didn't pop up with my friend could still use keyboard and mouse
but the latest version is the only one that works with the new api (i think it's a new api because the others crash) and that just straight up doesn't let him press anything

The latest Steam client release broke it, unfortunately. I can't send invite links to friends with Steam accounts and can't copy the guest link either. The previous version worked great for me, I was able to connect and play with 4 other devices.

tbh now i just use parsec for remote control

The controls aren't working for me either, I tried on the latest stable and beta versions of Steam
My friend says it tells him to hold the BACK button on the controller, and when he holds it, Remote Play crashes for him and close

for some reason, it just crashes when it tries to invite someone, or create a link. I'm not sure how this is supposed to work, but apparently this isn't normal. Is this happening for anyone else?

EDIT: nevermind, I just updated my steam and it started working, if you have an issue with this, just update your steam and it should work

Unfortunately it's not working for me, my friend counts as if he is in the section but he can't control anything

Sadly, stopped working at all. When I've tried to invite a friend it just closes without any error.
