Sshfs partially freezes the system while connecting. #340

I noticed serious system issues (KDE Desktop) during the initialization of an sshfs connection to an unreachable server. For example, the Dolphin file manager becomes frozen (it cannot be launched or used), and volume control from the keyboard stops working. Only after canceling the connection does everything return to normal, and my earlier keyboard input or Dolphin actions are executed as if they had been queued while frozen. Changing the volume from the desktop works without problems, but the volume level popup appears only after canceling or successfully establishing the connection to the remote server. Even after a successful connection, I noticed a delayed response to volume changes triggered from the keyboard. Additionally, there is no connection timeout — when the server is unreachable, sshfs keeps trying to connect indefinitely.
