There seem to be a whole lot of problems cleaning up at the end of the example code. I want to fix this but as is, I think I will likely use the pulse audio c api to do this instead so I don't have to stop my pulseaudio daemon. I know I could probably get around that problem, but as of right now, I would rather just push on and deal with this minor issue at a later time
