Plugin attempts to read memories at the wrong path

Hi, I have given this project a try and encountered following issue:

If I have a project at path /Users/edvorg/Projects/snake2.

Claude code would store and read memories at path ~/.claude/projects/-Users-edvorg-Projects-snake2/.

But opencode memory plugin tries to read memories at path ~/.claude/projects/- instead.

Could you please confirm if this intended behavior or a bug?

Hi @edvorg, thanks for the clear report, and sorry for the long delay in getting back to you.

You were right: this was a bug. In some OpenCode sessions the plugin could receive / as the worktree while the actual project path was only available through the session directory, which made it resolve memories under ~/.claude/projects/-/memory instead of the project-specific Claude Code path.

I've opened a fix in #21 that uses the session directory as the memory root in that case, so it should now resolve to the expected project-specific memory path. Thanks again for taking the time to report it.

Hi @kuitos thank you for the update! I have installed the new version from npm but I'm still seeing the problem.

I have done a temporary workaround by doing a symlink

Hi @edvorg, thanks for trying again, and sorry this is still happening.

I checked the published npm package, and the fix is included in the compiled dist files. Since your screenshot still shows the old ~/.claude/projects/-/memory path, my best guess is that OpenCode is still using a cached copy of the previous plugin version.

Could you try clearing the OpenCode plugin cache and restarting OpenCode?

rm -rf ~/.cache/opencode/packages/opencode-claude-memory@latest

After that, please remove the symlink workaround and test again. If it still points to ~/.claude/projects/-/memory, I’ll dig further.
