1. Re: NUM_ZONES - I did intend for it to be a simple value change - but some of the data structure defined currently prompt just a few more lines of change. I will address this in a few weeks. Should be a quick one.

2. The 5VDC power source you've shared looks good. Most 5VDC power supplies (especially mobile chargers) are floating power supplies.

I also have some other super useful code changes in the pipeline - one of them is to enable OTA (over the air) firmware updates on the device to seamlessly push in new code (physically having to plug in a cable for updates is a hassle)
