[BUG] Cannot select tools in UI of quick agent builder wizard

🐛 Bug Description

Hey guys, I finally made it through the installation of kagent. To bring my first kagent to live I used a port forwarding of the ui svc to my localhost. That works fine but on the "Select Tools" page I actually can not select any tools. Different Browsers (Chrome, Zen, ..), same behavior.

The Browser tools say:

1. Call the UI
2. Click through the wizard

🤔 Expected Behavior

selectable tools. Working ui.

📱 Actual Behavior

not selectable tools, not working ui :D

• MacOS
• k3s
• port forwarding
• kagent helm installed 0.8.3

Hi @FakieHeelflip I tried to reproduce this and confirm this behaviour. I also noticed that the tools do get selected as you can see in the next Step 4: Review Agent Configuration but the UI in the previous step shows no selection.

I'll go ahead with the fix unless you or anyone else is already working on it? Please let me know, thanks!

I just want to echo this - I ran a fresh build today for a demo and the wizard failed on me - auto assigning 38 tools
