I accidentally ran into this bug today. I uploaded a video and seconds after uploading it I decided I wanted to replace it with a better video so I deleted it right away but not before someone liked it. The notification/activity remains until the next activity is received. In the interim, reloading the activity list or refreshing the web browser does not clear the notification.
I'm not sure if this is a bug that originates in the backend or just the frontend. I don't know if this is a race condition. This is not a critical bug. I can continue using loops.video website w/o any apparent issues and therefore might be a low priority bug but I thought I'd report it just in case.
Steps to reproduce
- Upload a video
- Someone likes your video
- You may or may not need to update your activity list
- Delete said video
