All tribes:

  • Sawmills, Windmills, and Forges can be on mountains, but not forests
  • Forest movement cost 20 instead of 1000
  • Static units show how many kills they have (maybe vet units should too)
  • Lighthouses are remove, task is still all 4 corners
  • No defense bonus on any tile without fortify (regardless of tech)
  • Tech reorder (FS -> Roads, FS -> Strategy, Organization -> Riding -> Chivalry)
  • All temples removed except land temples, land temples are allowed on all terrain (including water) (maybe we should change the sprite based on the tile it's on)
  • Wealth task is unlocked without a tech
  • Guilds on FS (7 stars, once per city, 2 pop. Maybe should reduce the price to 5)
  • Disband is unlocked without a tech
  • Embassies don't give a bonus to alliances (can't remember if it was also nerfed to 1 spt or not)
  • Infiltrate units don't block income on infiltrate
  • You can infiltrate a city any number of times in a turn
  • Fertilize replaces Burn Forest
  • Fertilize can be used on all land, not just flooded
  • Fertilize costs 5
  • All tribes can use aqua crops
  • Aqua crops are harvested on use and don't turn into aqua farms
  • Water movement is on Sailing (except for Aquarion)
  • Ocean movement is on Navigation (except for Aquarion)
  • Mind bender on Meditation instead of Philosophy
  • Genius task unlocked without a tech

Normals/tribes with said mechanics

  • Knights have static
  • Cloaks don't steal stars on infiltrate
  • Cloaks cost 5
  • Mind bender heals themselves when healing an area
  • Embark does not require ports
  • Ports are on Aquaculture
  • Ports cost 5
  • Customs houses (10 stars, 1 spt per neighboring port) is on Aquatism
  • Embark is on Sailing
  • Rammers are on Navigation
  • Scouts cost 3
  • Bombers cost 10
  • Bombers have no splash damage, 4 attack
  • Dash embark replaces Aquatism defense bonus

Elyrion:

  • Should get access to Fertilize
  • Sanctuaries give pop instead of spt
  • Sanctuaries attract an animal every 3 turns instead of every 2
  • Can turn forests into Treants

Polaris:

  • Should probably give them no guaranteed resources
  • Tech tree reordered (Fishing -> Aquaculture -> Polarism, Fishing -> Frostworks -> Polar Warfare)
  • Sleds are on Aquaculture
  • Sleds have 2 movement instead of 3
  • Fortress have 1 movement instead of 2
  • Fortress has dash instead of escape
  • Fortress costs 10
  • Ice bank replaces customs houses instead of markets
  • Slide ability (should match the glide ability and not stack with the glide ability)
    • Note: glide used to be double movement on ice. Now it's +1 movement on ice. We're still using the prior version and maybe should change glide to match
  • Mooni cost 3
  • Mooni have slide instead of skate
  • Mooni has 1 movement instead of 2
  • Mooni does not have auto freeze, but still freeze area
  • Mooni has 2 defense
  • Yuukwi added in Polar Warfare (8 stars, 0/0, 2 movement, auto freeze, skate, freeze area, static)
  • Gaami has slide
  • Maybe auto freeze can be replaced with an active ability Wontfix currently, requires discussion

Aquarion:

  • No longer starts with flooded terrain
  • Flooding can be done after moving
  • I don't remember if we agreed to replace puffer with mermaid cata

Cymanti non split:

  • Poison no longer reduces movement
  • Algae no longer has 1000 movement for land units
  • Boost functions like creep (10 cost movement on everything except mountains or other explicit limitations like swim units on land)
  • No explode after attack
  • Doomux has sneak
  • Hexapod loses sneak
  • Larve probably shouldn't turn into moth
  • Destroy instead of recycling
  • Shaman does not replace any unit
  • Shaman is on Roads
  • Shaman has 3 attack
  • Can make fungi from crops or spores
  • Fungi cost 7
  • Fungi max level is 3
  • Recycling does not increase fungi max level by one. Instead it provides an upgrade to increase the level by one for 2 stars
  • Algae no longer creates fruit when spawn
  • Algae can be upgraded to give 1 pop for 2 stars
  • Algae cost 3
  • Raychi is amphibious
  • Living island cost 15
  • Phychi has 1 attack instead of 0.7
  • Clauthus replaces houses instead of markets
  • Clauthus benefits from algae instead of fungi
  • Clauthus cost 10
  • Maybe we should increase exida attack to 3.5
  • Mycelium does not stack healing with other Mycelium
  • Any number of Mycelium can be bought in a city

  • starting stars: 3

  • New biome (1.5x forest, 0x crop, default everything else)
