Remove func/method params in tests

We want test printouts to read more like test plans.

Test cases, especially pytest, often have parameters that are fixtures and aren't really necessary for a test plan.

The package sphinxcontrib-autodoc-filterparams seems to be perfect for what I need, but bumped into this issue where it appears to not work with newer versions of Sphinx.
