Maybe Feature: Explicit linking between researchers, based on advising/advisor or research group relationships?

I wonder if there'd be any value in being able to toggle between scholarly networks and research collaboration/mentorship networks -- I imagine that sometimes there are strong overlaps, but sometimes these things may be incidental or divergent in interesting ways. Not sure if others would have value in this, though....
