react-viewer renders through a DOM portal, so Next.js applications should load it on the client with SSR disabled. The current README documents this pattern:

import dynamic from "next/dynamic";

const Viewer = dynamic(() => import("react-viewer"), { ssr: false });

If the error still occurs with this setup on react-viewer@3.2.3, please provide the Next.js and React versions, the complete stack trace, and a minimal reproduction. I have marked this as needing reproduction and will keep it open for that information.
