Sometimes, sync doesn't work with my own config

This is probably due to a lot of jobs running "in parallel", that is the amount of timers being bigger than when tested so far. This will probably need subsecond precision to be implemented.

Seems to be hard to reproduce. I suspect a race-condition with NTP or similar things, we should test for such.
