Why does Nuscenes workflow use camera only?

For NavSim dataset, the pipelines uses lidar data and includes sensor fusion. However, for Nuscenes dataset, the workflow is camera only? Is there a specific reason why Nuscenes pipeline doesn't include lidar and fusion?
