Flux Led/MagicLight - ZJ-MW-HC01 not reporting state

Home Assistant release with the issue:

Last working Home Assistant release (if known):
Not known, started using with 0.91.1

Operating environment (Hass.io/Docker/Windows/etc.):
Docker, on a NUC with Ubuntu

Component/platform:
Flux Led/MagicLight - https://www.home-assistant.io/components/flux_led/

Description of problem:
Connecting the �ZJ-MW-HC01 (https://cdn.webshopapp.com/shops/15366/files/252900959/co-wifi-spi-mini-5v-12v-wifi-music-spi-dream-color.pdf?_ga=2.194999789.1714297678.1554585636-793421668.1553878998) works and i see it added as light. When i want to controll the light from my Home Assistant enviroment it's not working

When i click to turn on the lights the ledstrip ws2811 attached to it turns on but in Home Assistant the light keeps off. Also i don't see the extra attributes to select color or function. The lights/controller are working from the Magic Home app

Error suggest it's a problem in the callback

Strip is turned on by Home assistant, turn off also works but no feedback in Home Assistant and no options to selct color/function

From my point of view, it is not working for the controller ZJ-MW-HC01 (Led SPI Controller)

@autinerd has done a good amount of work in adding support for this already (see #22161 / lightinglibs/flux_led/pull/59 ) . Unfortunately that issue / pull request seems to have gotten overrun by someone complaining about an unrelated bug which I think muddied the waters.

Perhaps it can be resurrected now the other issue has been dealt with?

Thank you for the contributions @lstg . Are there any news regarding to this issue? or any way to solve this locally in my Hassio files? I run the @autinerd striptest.py and everything was working for me. I hope there's something to do to solve this.

@luchoecv , please see my recent comment #22161 (comment) for some further details .

Whilst you can add these controllers to home assistant via the flux_led component, the underlying https://github.com/Danielhiversen/flux_led library doesn't actually support them properly yet. With the current state of things I think you can only really switch them on / off, and that may only occasionally work too.

It may be possible to replace the flux_led library used on your local installation with those from lightinglibs/flux_led/pull/59, though I'm not sure this would actually be of much benefit from home assistant yet as no support for configuring the additional 'functions' / patterns that this strip provides.
