blank screen on 'Polymer' tab

I followed the installation instructions and all seemed to go well, and indeed I get the 'Polymer' tab in the inspector when I run my app. However, the pane is completely empty. I get some extra messages in the console, such as 'Document start:', but otherwise I don't see anything.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?

Is your app up somewhere so I can reproduce the problem?

If the web-page is deeply nested it takes a while for the tool to initialize. More so, if your app keeps mutating even while the tool loads, because the tool tries to keep up with the app.

If that isn't the problem, can you please do the following?

• Open your app
• Open devtools (making sure it doesn't open with the Polymer pane focused)
• Undock devtools to a window of its own (button at right top corner)
• Inspect devtools window (Ctrl + Shift + I or equivalent)
• Now you're inspecting the old devtools window with the new devtools window. Switch over to the Polymer pane in the old devtools window.
• Check if there are errors logged in the console of the new devtools window.

It could be that since it is quite dynamic to start with, but if I leave it alone, it should settle down...I'll have another play. I'll also try your steps.

hrm, yeah, some error messages (I wish they'd make it easier to copy/paste error messages from the inspector):

Ok, I think that's sort of representative - the copy/paste process seems to have moved the file:line from the end of the line to the beginning of the line.

I see mention of platform.js and can't help but wonder if this is to do with the move from platform.js to webcomponents.js that polymer made recently.

Ah, yeah that seems to be the problem. I'll try get to this soon.
You can use an older Polymer (by changing bower.json with older Polymer and platform versions) to get this to work in the meantime.
