Selected values for core-list demo on Chrome v43.0.2357.x(64-bit) Mac OS X doesn't work as expected

The demo at https://www.polymer-project.org/0.5/components/core-list/demo.html has the option 'Selection enabled' which captures core-activated events and displays them next to the 'Selected values' labels. This behaviour is broken in the following system(s):

Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3
Chrome v. 43.0.2357.x(64-bit) with all extensions disabled.
(Edit: In the Chrome screenshot the extension 'LiveReload' was enabled. I disabled it and the problem remains.)
I have successufly reproduced it in 4 different machines.

Expected behaviour: see Firefox and Safari animated gifs

Actual behaviour: see Chrome animated gif

Firefox 38.0.5

Safari 8.0.6 (10600.6.3)
