@scoskey do we need alternatives? Does this provide something the built in editor does not do when rendering latex?

@travis-leith That's a good question, I have been using the built-in editor for some time now. One feature of mdmath that I remember using quite a lot was the ability to export the html preview to html with a key shortcut, rather than compiling it or converting it on the command line. Other features included custom tex macros and custom styling of the preview.
