Scrobbler not scrobbling

As title says, the scrobbler seems to not be scrobbling anymore.

I have tried to clear the authorization and set it up again, but doesn´t work. Console says it is submitting the tracks but I cannot see either the "now playing" notification on the web site nor do I see the played tracks on appear on the web, even hours after stopping the Foobar. The scrobbler is active in the playback menu too, of course.

To be honest, I´m not sure the problem is this plugin specifically as the official foo_audioscrobbler does not seem to work either and both Spotify and my Linux player do work just fine.

Works here just fine. Can you make sure you try different file (MP3, FLAC) and release (Album, Compilation) formats to narrow down the scope.

After investigating my media library I have discovered that on Windows many of my mp3s have incorrect values on their %albumartist% tag. Many have the actual artist of the album + ;Various Artists as which I use for compilations. Correcting that, seems to allow the scrobbling to work as expected.

Although, the weird thing is this seems to happen only on Windows. While in Linux, the same files do show correct tags and scrobble as expected. probably some bad interaction between mp3tag, puddletag, foobar, fooyin and deadbeef tag writing, as I use all of that.

Great to see you found the culprit. I myself use foobar2000 portable both on Linux and Windows. Haven't noticed any weird things at all. However I must admit I tag my library via foo_discogger only.
