Spot location indicator

Hi there,
I am a new Ganttrify user, and I love it. It's simple and powerful, just what I needed.

Could the spot markers be labeled with an indicator showing their exact location? My spots are usually a couple of words, so this would really help!

Do I understand this correctly that what you'd like to see is a point (or other sign) on the spot, and then the full label just above (or under) it?

I'm not sure how this could visually work consistently, ensuring that the labels do not go over the line of an adjacent task, or that two labels don't go one over the other, etc.

I may consider approaching this with ggrepel, but I'm not sure the result would be visually satisfying.

My feeling is that relying on a legend, either separate or in the caption (see below), would work easiest at this stage.

If you had in mind something different or more specific, please add detail or provide a rough visual hint.

Oh, I understand now what you mean. Yes, a short vertical segment such as the one you made for D should very much be doable. I'm not sure how clear that would be in practice with lengthier labels, but it's worth giving this a try. I'll consider implementing this, thanks for the suggestion.
