From 75392396b1a375b790898da2d593697f5727fc34 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Bissbert <43237892+Bissbert@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Wed, 13 May 2026 14:34:09 +0700 Subject: [PATCH] chore(schema): allow string-valued issue/volume in citation references MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Some Gems & Gemology entries cite combined issues (e.g. "1–4") which can't be expressed as integers. Widen the journal-reference Zod schema to accept either int or string for volume and issue. Unblocks the v1.3.0 content sync (gemmology-knowledge equipment/conoscope.yaml declares issue: "1–4" against Read 2014 chapter range). --- src/content/config.ts | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/content/config.ts b/src/content/config.ts index 3bda08e..98688cd 100644 --- a/src/content/config.ts +++ b/src/content/config.ts @@ -30,8 +30,8 @@ const journalReferenceSchema = z.object({ title: z.string(), journal: z.string(), year: z.number().int(), - volume: z.number().int().optional(), - issue: z.number().int().optional(), + volume: z.union([z.number().int(), z.string()]).optional(), + issue: z.union([z.number().int(), z.string()]).optional(), pages: z.string().optional(), doi: z.string().optional(), url: z.string().url().optional(),
