Pagination

Whilst it's possible to write a Content object that generates multiple output pages [as I've done on my blog with TagIndex], having built in support for this as well as pagination would likely save many people a lot of effort.

Pagination would indeed be useful, I'd have to roll it myself if it wasn't included for each and every one of the projects I have in mind that would be using Gilbert

Well, a Collection seems the natural place to attach it...

(and yes, it bothers me that we now have two things called Collection - one used on Site, one as a Content type)
