Lazy loading / tree shaking

Whilst looking at a html5up theme, I realised sometimes you want content to be on hand, but not rendered as a page.

It may be possible to make this smoother by, instead of loading all pages and rendering them all, loading the index, and following any pages it links to.

This would require an explicit page-link mechanism.

This would require a configurable of "entry points".
It would need to be plural, as some sites have "marketing landing pages" which are never referenced by other pages.
