Option to connect Salesforce Orgs to a single project

I noticed that all orgs, when connected, are stored at a global level and are then available across all my projects. Which is great, although there are times where it would be great to just connect an org to a specific project otherwise the list starts to become really large when creating scratch orgs across multiple projects and connecting multiple test orgs etc.

I would like to request that by default the org login and org create commands, by default, work as they do currently although we add the option, to these commands, of a flag like "--project" which when set only makes the org available within that project.
