From 937b9bb07d9356801d842d144e9caf414d73b066 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: flupkede Date: Sun, 18 Oct 2026 00:31:37 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] fix: wrap the watcher include-test fixture literal with an escape MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit The .codesearchinclude fixture was written as a real multi-line string literal — the caller-facing-literals detector (tests/caller_facing_literals.rs, run by CI's cargo test --test '*') flags any literal spanning lines without a \ continuation, on every platform. Local validation missed it because it only ran --lib --bins; the integration tests never ran before push. Full --test '*' suite now green locally. --- src/watch/mod.rs | 7 +------ 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 6 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/watch/mod.rs b/src/watch/mod.rs index 6152bf18..ecffdcab 100644 --- a/src/watch/mod.rs +++ b/src/watch/mod.rs @@ -677,12 +677,7 @@ mod tests { let dir = tempfile::TempDir::new().unwrap(); std::fs::write(dir.path().join("keep.rs"), "fn a() {}").unwrap(); std::fs::write(dir.path().join("drop.py"), "print(1)").unwrap(); - std::fs::write( - dir.path().join(".codesearchinclude"), - "*.rs -", - ) - .unwrap(); + std::fs::write(dir.path().join(".codesearchinclude"), "*.rs\n").unwrap(); let watcher = watcher_with_isolated_home(dir.path().to_path_buf()); assert!(
