The cover is not generated after multi-select grouping

Observed behavior

• Sometimes, when I click on the previously selected pile to group them, the cover is not generated right away

I found out that the cover is actually generated. When you leave through the items, then leave the pile and hover it again, the cover will appear. It seems like we're assuming that the cover is ready too early. Unfortunately, I haven't found out why.
