proper research data management measures

We need to improve research data management proceedures. That includes, amongst other things:

1. agreeing on a LICENSE
2. ensuring adherence to the FAIR principles
3. agreeing on unique and persistent identifiers
4. making data properly citeable
5. making the repository properly citable
6. ...

One simple approach towards these goals could be regularly publish snapshots of the repository at Zenodo which has good GitHub connectivity.
