Explore moving the entire archive and remove the restriction of statically compiled tools

Adding an optional type: directory input might allow us to move the entire directory and add it to the path.

I would appreciate this. My build depends on a tool with a multitude of executables, and I don't know which exactly it needs. Adding all of them is a pain at best, just pointing to the bin folder would make it a whole lot easier.

I agree, this would be a helpful feature.
