Question: Is adding __attribute__((malloc)) to malloc_beebs acceptable?

Hi,

Since I could not reach the mailing list, I hope it is okay to ask here.

I have a benchmark-methodology question about support/beebsc.h:
Would it be considered acceptable to add __attribute__((malloc)) to:

• malloc_beebs
• calloc_beebs
• realloc_beebs

?

I want to make sure this is within Embench rules for acceptable benchmark configuration (and not considered an invalid benchmark-side tweak).
