Peugeot Rifter 2024 without ACC – lateral-only support? #3

Description

@Waalkyrie

Hi Daniel,

I’m trying to determine whether my 2024 Peugeot Rifter could work with your PSA port for lateral-only openpilot control.

Vehicle details:

  • Peugeot Rifter 2024
  • 1.5 BlueHDi 130
  • EAT8 automatic gearbox
  • Standard cruise control only, no ACC
  • Active Lane Keep Assist: the steering wheel actively corrects the trajectory when approaching lane markings
  • Forward collision warning / Active Safety Brake
  • EMP2 platform

I saw that the Citroën Berlingo K9 is listed as verified, and that the Berlingo and Rifter seem to share very similar EMP2 / BSI-EL3 architecture.

My goal is simple: I only want openpilot to control the steering. I’m happy to keep using the Peugeot standard cruise control for speed control.

A few questions:

  1. Have you already tested a Peugeot Rifter with your PSA port?
  2. Have you tested a Berlingo/Rifter without ACC using lateral control only?
  3. Would the current PSA Gateway Harness work on a 2024 Rifter?
  4. Do you expect the current steering implementation to work as-is, or would you need CAN logs / ECU identification first?
  5. If useful, I’m happy to provide CAN logs, BSI/EPS/camera ECU references, or help test the Rifter port.

Thanks a lot for your work on PSA support.
