As discussed in our last meeting, to increase our exposure within the LF it would make sense to create a list/graphic that showcases just how many components, subsystems and modules of the railway system in general have safety responsibility.
Creating a full picture of the components that need to be considered may also help with #1, by providing a baseline of modules that need to be covered by the collected regulations of standards.
For rolling stock some examples could be:
- Safe driver tachometer/display
- European vital computer
- Train protection systems
- Brake controllers
For the wayside examples could be:
- Interlocking systems
- Field-element controllers
- Radio block centres
If you have any ideas just dump them into this issue and it will serve as a baseline to sort and organise them later.
