The microphone indicator shows it's off when it's actually on

What Happened?

When using the microphone and seeing the indicator for the first time, it shows that it's off, when in fact it is active and listening.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Run pkill -f io.elementary.wingpanel.
2. Join a video call.
3. Open the microphone indicator.
4. Notice that the indicator says the microphone is off.

Expected Behavior

The microphone indicator should reflect the actual status.
