Attribute Error

did i install incorrectly? (i didnt see the "preference" section in the addon menu)

but the error is this

in sequencer: add -> image as animatic

Once the add-on is installed using Blender Preferences, the add-on will appear very low in the list because it is part of the Sequencer. It will show up as Sequencer: Animatic Video Sequencer. You can try searching for "animatic" to only show this add-on. The error is happening because it cannot find a value for the time cursor position from the preferences default value. Try uninstalling and make sure you install from the original zip file. You do not need to unzip the file. Blender will install from the zip file.
