In the last week, I've seen the bar start "splitting" and showing itself on the far left and far right of my monitor (see screenshot)
What makes this more interesting, this is on an LG 49" ultrawide monitor connected by DP, and it doesn't happen all the time. It seems to only occur when the active app on the Mac has a very small menu. Granola is an example.
When I select Chrome, the extended part of the menu is in the proper position on the right side next to the rest of the bar. But with a menu that is very short, it splits. Because I'm using an external monitor with the MBP in clamshell mode, the notch isn't seeming to be an issue here.
