I only need the SQL query statement and do not want it to be executed. For example: provide the SQL statement to retrieve the first 10 records from the logs table.

I only want to get the following result.
SELECT id, timestamp, level, service, message, duration_ms FROM logs LIMIT 10;

But in reality, I end up getting many executed results.

How should I write the prompt？

Thanks for the feedback — this is a great suggestion.

We understand that many users want to use AI purely for SQL generation, then review or modify the statement manually inside the editor before running anything.

To better support this workflow, we plan to provide a dedicated Generate SQL capability directly in the SQL Editor. This will focus on generating the query statement only, inserting it into the editor without executing it automatically.

That gives users a clearer and safer flow:

Ask for SQL → Review/Edit in SQL Editor → Run when ready

We believe this is a better experience than relying on Ask mode prompts to prevent execution.
