Unable to add as a skill to Claude because the file size is bigger than 30MB

Please assist in adding this skill to Claude as the file is 32+MBs even after compressing And Claude won't allow me to add a skill which has a file size bigger than 30MB

Hi @atifirfan2011 — thanks for trying the toolkit out!

I think the 30 MB limit is a sign of a mismatch rather than something to compress around. claude-code-video-toolkit isn't a single uploadable Skill — it's a whole workspace containing 20+ separate skills (under .claude/skills/), plus tools/, lib/, templates/, brand profiles, and a lot of example media. claude.ai's Skill upload expects one skill folder (a SKILL.md plus light supporting files), and the 30 MB cap is sized for exactly that. Most of your 32 MB is almost certainly example images/audio/video, not skill logic.

So you've got two paths depending on what you actually want:

1. You want to use the whole toolkit (recommended).
It's designed to be cloned and run locally with Claude Code, not uploaded to claude.ai:

Open it with Claude Code and all the skills/commands/tools are available automatically — no upload, no size limit.

2. You only want one specific skill on claude.ai.
Upload just that single skill's folder, e.g. .claude/skills/ltx2/ or .claude/skills/ideogram4/. On its own it's a few KB — far under the cap.

Could you let me know which skill you were trying to add? Happy to point you at the exact folder. But if your goal is "use the toolkit to make videos," go with option 1 — uploading isn't the intended path at all.
