  TapAuth is a Raspberry Pi NFC attendance and reservation kiosk with durable
  local-first card registration and recognition. It keeps normal kiosk
  interactions available through a private on-device registry while using
  MySQL as the main operational database and optionally synchronizing approved
  records to Firebase. The system also supports 3D printing requests, teacher
  appointments, student administration, reader recovery, and deployment
  operations for an ACR122U-equipped Raspberry Pi.
