problem when finish the setup

as presented in this attached picture, after replacing the config document with the sample configuration folder from this website, the red text still exists indicating that the study‘s setup is not complete or has a problem. How can I solve it?

Are you using the latest pip-version of gazeMapper?

ah! this is an annoying effect for a change in pandas 3
can you install the last pandas 2 version in your environment? that should do the trick:
pip install --upgrade --force-reinstall "pandas<3.0"

A new version with the required fixes is in the works, but will take some time still.

@dcnieho thank you so much! I am really looking forward to the new version and I will try to follow any news about it. The problem is solved now and I am able to move on to import eye tracker recordings. It will take me some time to get familiar with the interface and understand all the meanings of every parameters in this software. After that, I will try to apply it to my Tobii pro glasses3 recordings. as far as I learn from your instructions, the Tobii data doesn't need to be preprocessed, am I right?

a new error when perform detecting markers (actually this step was performed successfully when I first click it, but when I finish the code episode part, the detect markers function get gray so I secondly perform it but get errors as below)

@wangxin917 Glad we got further! Yes, the Tobii G3 data can be used without any preprocessing.
Could you include the error you ran in to now?

after running the auto code episode , the detect markers turn gray . so I re-performe it but failed at the 30% progress point approximately.

You say "but get errors as below" but there is nothing below? What error do you get?

i see the error now. Very strange! Can you expand the more info, and show me what is there? I would like to see exactly where the error occurs. What exact data do you run this on, my example data? Would you mind removing the recording and reimporting, see if this happens again?
(Its stupid in my design that you need to run the detect markers twice. I have also fixed this in the new version..)

@dcnieho I ran the simple/data in the downloaded folder. I definitely repeat it but still got the same failure. And the more info seems to contain nothing but a double lines.

can you scroll down in the more info? It should contain a traceback, that is, info about where in the code the crash occurs.
can you tell me the version of pycolmap that is installed in your environment? Is it detect markers or code episodes that issues this?

It is strange this happens, as the examples have been working well so far. I am expecting another recent not-backwards-compatible change in a package somewhere is causing this...
