FAQ

Can I use Social Blade scraper without code?

Yes. Open Social Blade Multi-Platform Analytics Scraper on Apify, add profiles in the Input tab, click Start and inspect the Dataset tab.

What input does it accept?

Use complete HTTPS Social Blade profile URLs or bare handles in the required profiles array. Bare handles use defaultPlatform, which defaults to YouTube. The run accepts up to 1,000 submitted profiles.

Do I need to configure a proxy or source login?

No. Proxy handling is managed by the hosted Actor and is not an Actor input. The collection uses publicly exposed Social Blade data and does not ask for source credentials, cookies or private account access.

How is the output structured?

The Dataset contains a current profile record per unique valid input and optional dailyStat, weeklyStat and monthlyStat rows. dataQuality explains endpoint coverage, while status distinguishes complete, partial, duplicate and error outcomes.

How much does it cost?

The Actor charges one profile event for each successfully delivered profile snapshot. The FREE tier is $0.005 per profile, equivalent to $5 per 1,000 profiles; lower tier prices are listed in the repository limits and pricing section and on the hosted Actor page. History rows do not create separate events.

What should I do when a value is missing?

Check dataQuality and earningsStatus. Social Blade exposes different fields by platform and profile, so unavailable values remain null or empty rather than being inferred. Retry only records classified as temporary failures.

Why can Instagram have fewer history fields?

Some Instagram statistics and history endpoints are not publicly available without login. The Actor reports deterministic gaps as unavailable and does not attempt login or bypass access controls.

Can I export the result to CSV?

Yes. Export the Dataset from Apify or run export_socialblade_csv.py against saved JSON output.
