In static and compact mode the contributions data is gathered with a personal access token to be (presumably) shared with other people.
It is already possible to just not give the app access to private repo information by configuring a fine-grained personal access token, but it would be nice to be able to count private contributions without displaying the repository names, or details about PRs on those repositories.
