Description
The purpose of this pallet is to cater to the use case of tracking an particular resource/entity (mainly focussed on supply chain industry) from source to destination via distribution(wholesaler, retailers) points.
Some time back, our team along with Beckn (FIDE) team published a paper on how blockchain can be used in e-commerce. Before going further in the issue, we recommend you to read the blog once.
The identifier based approach allows the possible tracking of ownership changes as updates to given asset. Check Asset Pallet details here. With this issue, we want to extend the feature to allow new instance creation with every hand change, which will allow tracking of even the quantity with every dealer, every shop, thus making it a strong usecase for preventing adulteration.
