Scope

• Curate common behavioral health taxonomy categories from NUCC.
• Add NPPES lookup by NPI where possible.
• Explain common distinctions: clinical social worker, mental health counselor, marriage and family therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, and group practice.
• Keep guidance informational and source-linked.

Acceptance checks

• A clinician can search by credential or role.
• Results show taxonomy code, classification, specialization when available, and source.
